Montérégie Farms
I created a series of short animated educational videos for the councils of the Montérégie region (south of Montreal). Their objective was to inform the public about the realities of living in a semi-agricultural region and appeal to city folk considering moving away from the busy urban locale.
At the time I was the only Motion Designer at Pénéga so I worked independently animating this project. This included the initial research, design and storyboarding through to animating the scenes and characters as well as editing and sound design. I was assisted by the Graphic Design team with the character design. We opted for a bendy long limbed character so I used RubberHose 2 for most of the character animation.
Below are some early scene designs, colour schemes and props that I created.
